Aside from Matt, I'm currently listening to the New Pornographers "Twin Cinema", Jason Mraz "Word Play", David Usher "If God Had Curves" and Matt Mays & El Torpedo.

What is everyone here listen to?

At this very second Matt Mays is spinning for me. Did you catch the video for On The Hood yet? Hillarious dance scene.

Also listening to alot of The Trews, getting back into Sloan in a mean way lately. Of course James McKenty and the Spades never leaves my stereo for long. The Golden Dogs and Metric have been getting alot of spins too recently.

I love the Golden Dogs, I haven't heard of The Spades. That dance scene in the Matt Mays video is hysterical. I'm not a Trews fan but I've never seen them live which I hear is the best way to hear them

The Golden Dogs kill. Can't wait for the peterborough show next month. I know them through the Spades. And MAtthew Barber too for that matter. Check them out http://www.thespades.ca

The Trews definitely win most fans over with their live show.

Well I just moved back into town from Chapel Hill where I was heavily steeped in an oversaturated indie music scene.

here are personal favourites that rose to the top. Insanely talented - I listen over and over:

"The Old Ceremony" is a 6- 11 piece orchestra and sounds like sinatra backed by the bad seeds, arranged by godspeed you black emperor. Intelligent lyrics meet moody hitchcock film music for the millenium.

another is Roman Candle, which i describe as the stones meets oasis with less sex and a little old school country. just got picked up by v2 to rerelease their album - they won't be underground for long.

I'm a Canon girl through and through... I've got a 10d right now, with only a crappy lens. I need to get a wide, and a long lens, but that's gotta wait til I get the money. I'd love to have a Mark II instead of my 10d, but that'll happen when I get 10 grand to spend on it... Hahahaha... If we're both at the ECMAs, then yeah, definitely let's meet. You won't be able to miss me. I was the youngest, and pretty much the only professional, female shooter at the ECMAs... You'll see me all over the place! Great times, music and photos! I can't wait!

i'm Canon too, working on converting everyone... I've got the 20d with 3 lenses (18-55mm, 35-90mm, and 75-300mm with image stabilizer)
the mark II would be sweet, i'm getting rid of my camera in 2 years and getting a really good one, like the mark II
ECMAs this year should be interesting.. going to be tough to find a place to stay on the island tho
i have msn, i'll add you
