Is anyone here going to see Shaker at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on September 30th?? I'm wondering what time the show starts?? Anyone able to help me on this?? Thanks!

i'll be there! the show is actually jimmy swift band, anyways shaker starts at 11, and jimmy swift band starts at 12, there is actually another band playing at 9:45 but the site doesn't say who it is. the show's $10 at the door (i'm assuming its at the door).

I was thinking about making the trip in to catch the show. I can't remember seeing Jimmy Swift Band though... are they any good live? Have you seen them perform before? I've been hearing such good things about Shaker, so I want to check them out.

make the trip! it will be worth it for shaker alone! they have such energy, they're my favorite band to photograph... i've never seen jimmy swift before, but i've heard good things

photojournalist eh? i was thinking of doing that for awhile, even sort of half assed worked at a newspaper when i was visiting a friend in nova scotia.. she still needs to send me the papers too!

Why did you change your mind from being a photojournalist?? It's such a great job! I love it. Well, most of the time... I hate covering council meetings though... Especially when there's 3 public hearings scheduled... Ugh... And I'm sure she'll send you the papers. She's probably just busy, or lazy... Hahaha...

But I'm not sure if I'll be making the show on the 30th or not. But there are people in the area I could visit with, and there are things near the area I have to take care of, so maybe I will. We'll see.

i still want to do it but i didn't want to limit myself with the photojournalism program at loyalist.. i had talked to a few people that went there and that basically convinced me not to go there..
i'll probably end up doing it eventually but for now i'm happy doing what i'm doing
