Since 2004 James Mckenty and The Spades release of " Burning on Fumes" the band has been constanly touring refining their sound and live show. Their latest effort and soon to be released album" Let it Grow" was recorded by The Hip's Gord Sinclair and features a blend of "Burning on Fumes" and James Mckentys solo disc"Restless Soul" . The album's title is really what has happened with the bands sound and live show, you can watch The Spades at work recording the track "The Next Round" for Let It Grow in video form at www.thespades.ca . While you are there check out "Burning on Fumes" streamed track for track and in the media section you can download mp3's of unreleased material. Over the past couple years the band has shared bills with The Hip (2),Jim Cuddy Band, Matt Mays, Sam Roberts, Cuff The Duke, Wide Mouth Mason, April Wine, Burton Cummings, The Golden Dogs etc
